March 4, 2011 Avon's ANEW Regimens Front-and-Center on The View On March 1 and March 2 ANEW was the highlight of The View, the hit morning talk show that airs weekdays on ABC. Among the studio audience during the March 2 taping were Representatives Kenya Cameron (shown at far right of the photo with Maria Peninger and her guest) and Archana Gautam (shown below with her husband and Maria). Kenya and Archan were two of the top sellers in a C-3 incentive run by Maria Peninger, Region Sales Leader Northeast. Their hard work earned them the opportunity to watch international film-star Jacqueline Bisset be interviewed about her role as spokesperson for ANEW Platinum. Jacqueline talked about the products she uses and the hosts commented that her face looked beautiful as a result. The ANEW Platinum commercial aired immediately after her interview. All audience members from the March 2 show took home FREE ANEW Platinum products. In the March 1 segment, host Joy Behar underscored the success of ANEW Regimen Kits and its ability to provide younger looking skin at any age. She announced an exclusive sweepstakes to win one of 15,000 ANEW Regimen Kits through The View's Web site. The sweepstakes garnered more than 42,000 entries over a 24-hour period. In addition, every member of the studio audience on March 1 took home FREE ANEW Regimen Kits. Avon in the News Widespread coverage of the Avon Global Believe Tour continues across the media. WWD ran a story on February 18 that discussed the kickoff of the Tour in Atlanta where over 6,000 Representatives helped celebrate the 125th Anniversary. Avon Chairman and CEO Andrea Jung is quoted in the article saying, "As a company for women, Avon feels an obligation and responsibility to play a leadership role in helping to improve the lives of women around the world, and we truly believe we can make a difference." A photo of Andrea Jung and Avon Global Ambassador Reese Witherspoon on stage at the Georgia International Convention Center was included in the article. A February 17 blog post on Rolemommy.com featured the World Tour in Los Angeles, which included Patrick Dempsey. Representatives in the News Avon Representative Aletrice Mann was featured in a February 24 article from the Associated Press (National) that dealt with direct selling companies titled "Direct Sales Offers Boost for Women in Hard Times." The article was picked up by numerous media outlets, including ABC.com, CNBC.com, MSNBC.com and others. Avon Representative and Executive Unit Leader Donna Sims was highlighted in a February 21 article on BND.com (Belleville, IL). Avon Representative Shirley Jordan was featured in an article in the February 17 edition of the Tyler Morning Telegraph (Tyler, TX). Avon Representative Deana Peterson was spotlighted in a February 4 article in The Indianapolis Recorder (Indianapolis, IN).
